Single Stand Mills
These are ideal mills for productions upto 400,000 MT per year (depending on product mix). Esmech engineers each mill specifically to meet the production needs and ranges of each individual customer, which helps optimize the customer's investment as well as rolling cost.
Esmech offers CVC® plus 4 Mill (4 high configuration) for thicker output products. 4 High Mills offer significant operational advantages such as greater flexibility, simplicity of operation and lower cost of rolling. The CVC®plus 4 system provides superior control to the operator over strip profile and “as you roll” shifting system.
For thinner output products, Esmech offers CVC® plus 6 Mill (6 High configuration). 6 High Mills are the superior choice for thin strip rolling. The patented CVC®plus system provides superior control to the operator over strip profile and "as you roll" shifting system for the intermediate roll.
Esmech Mills feature lower work roll diameters, which significantly reduce commonly found rolling problems during thin rolling like roll kissing, spalling and shape defects.
Depending on the need and customer requirements, Esmech also offers for its Reversing Cold Mills, the revolutionary “Dry Strip” system to reduce Roll Coolant carryover, HS Stabilisation and "ESS" sytem.

Compact Cold Mill (Twin Stand)
Twin Stand Mills are termed as CCM, or Compact Cold Mills. With over 5 CCMs supplied and 2 single stand mills upgraded to CCMs, Esmech has a considerable experience in these Mills.
CCMs typically have around 160-170 % of a Single Stand Mill capacity, and are quite cost effective due to the fact that the operating crew is the same, it occupies a lower space in the workshop, and electric power usage is also optimized.
Effective solutions such as "TRC (Total roll gap control)" and "Yield Optimiser" are available to reduce the yield loss due to thicker ends at the head end and tail end of the coil.

Skin Pass Mills
The exacting strip quality requirement of end users of Cold Rolled strips require processing through Skin Pass Mills.
Esmech offers Skin Pass Mills with high levels of operational flexibility, thus enabling its customers to meet a wide range of quality parameters demanded by their customers.
Offline Skin Pass Mills are proposed for processing CRCA material and in applications where flexibility of process flow is required.
Inline Skin Pass Mills are proposed for galvanizing lines and annealing lines, which dedicatedly process material processed in those lines.
Combined Reduction and Skin Pass Mills can be configured for those customers whose production requirements do not commercially justify a separate offline Skin Pass Mill.
