Facilities (Infrastructure)

Esmech has 2 world-class facilities to manufacture Cold Rolling Mills and Strip Processing Equipment.

One facility is located at its Head Office at Thane (adjacent to Mumbai), while the other is located at Wada (65 kms from Thane).

Esmech Equipment has a well equipped machine shop and assembly shop at each location. All the critical manufacturing is carried out in-house, under the careful supervision of highly experienced engineers.

Esmech Equipment has its manufacturing facility located in a premier industrial estate in Thane, just on the outskirts of Mumbai (Bombay). This facility includes 4000 sq.m. of assembly and machine shop, and 1600 sq.m. of office space and utilities. The facility is equipped with cranes, sophisticated machinery, measuring instruments etc.

Esmech Equipment’s Wada facility has a large area, allowing it to expand as required. Wada has a special state focus for development of industrial infrastructure. This facility has already grown to over 10,000 sq. m., thus allowing ample space for executing large projects. The facility has a capability of handling and machining 100 MT heavy loads (eg. Cold Rolling Mill Housings). This facility is equipped with all facilities to required to manufacture Cold Rolling Mills as well as Process Lines.

Design Team

Esmech Equipment design team is headed by engineers with over 25 years experience in the design of such equipment. The designs incorporate considerable amount of user experience systematically gathered over two decades of experience.

All designs are carried out with latest CAD software tools, including 3D designing.

Esmech Equipment is therefore highly productive, very user friendly and extremely efficient and accurate in its operation and has negligible break-down maintenance and high uptime.

Extensive Design Library

Long experience of self and various collaborators has resulted into extensive design library available at the command of Esmech Equipment. Esmech also enjoys access to the technical library of SMS Group GmbH.

Machine Shop

Esmech Equipment has an excellent captive machine shop comprising of highly sophisticated machinery equipped with CNC controls, Digital Readouts etc. All critical machining operations are carried out by Esmech inhouse, under strict quality procedures, which result in the outstanding quality of its products.

Assembly Section

The assembly section has highly experienced engineers and skilled workmen, who ensure the very high quality of equipment manufactured. The equipment is tested at all stages of manufacturing for conformance to strict quality assurance norms.

Quality Assurance

Esmech Equipment has developed an elaborate Quality Assurance Plan and employs a well qualified and experienced team for inspection. Erection, Commissioning and Field Services Esmech Equipment employs a team of highly skilled and experienced Engineers and Technicians for the field services within the country and abroad.
